I feel this. I have encountered this now a couple times with people who are not rich, but doing well, and they are obsessed with how rich other people they know are and talk about it at length - like what are they getting out of this? I find it off putting.

seriously, go to fucking sunday school/church for bible study; if they could continue to teach social studies, civics, health/comprehensive sex ed, and throw in some personal finance and job interview/application skills that would be great.

why is it that the people telling others to stay home with their kids never do (DC politicians and their ilk)

cameras are relatively inexpensive and easy to install and monitor even remotely via smart phones (for the facility and family members to access/monitor) - seems an obvious way to monitor patients and ppl accessing them. this type of abuse going unchecked is completely avoidable with this type of monitoring.
