Her family life growing up wasn’t happy, she suffered with mental illness and eating disorders. The royal life exacerbated, but didn’t cause her problems. She likely would have suffered similarly, just outside of public viewing, had she not married a royal.

I think the rest of Di’s fashion choices were en point (with few exceptions). She got better and better over time and she rocked the 90s fashion, too.
