That why they need a Canadian version I don't think we regulate all that stuff in. We just get it all because the USA makes it legislation.
The WRX is still a Impreza and a EVO is still a Lancer.
I am way more excited for this than the Focus ST. Plus ford make a model without all the electronic gizmos. A simple stereo is enough. This could be a great auto-x car.
With rear steering, like a fork lift.
You don't need snow just lots of trays.
I was considering waiting to get a BRZ when I first bought my Rx-8 but I thought it would cost lot more than it does in Canada, which is a surprise. Even with the lower cost of a new BRZ the cost difference between a used Rx-8 (2007) and a new BRZ I can buy a lot of fuel. Finding a BRZ in Canada especially where I am…
I was wondering about this one as well. But the Rx-8 haters will show up with all their "knowledge" on why the Rx-8 sucks. But if you can live with the poor fuel economy and avoid the 04-05's the Rx-8 is a great car. It doesn't really required more maintenance than a normal car just different maintenance. Also from…
I think the problem is that in the USA car prices are going up due to the lower dollar and higher yen. In canada this car is awesomely priced. When first annouced I figured it would cost as much as a WRX, but actual cost starts at 28 grand vs 32 grand (WRX). Also the base model comes better equiped than the base…
What you said. Test drove a couple Genesis's not bad cars but not great either.
Yup, seen lots of guys like that. Then there are the other side of new people who fly into every element and understeering the car all the way around. I really like later when they come onto the local car club forums asking what they can do t0 the car to make it stop ploughing. Most don't like the answer which is…
Thanks for the complement. I have auto-xing for several years and have watch hundreds of cars run and I can tell the difference between slow that is actually fast and slow which is slow. Lack of of tire noise is the biggest indicator and the fact when the car got just a little loose the driver had no idea what was…
That guy pussy foot it the whole way around and then just before the stop box decide to show off a little and forgot he has no skills.
How about everyone gets retested every five years. Better yet an actual drivers test that weeds out the shitty drivers.
Always heard the 02 seats where good. All I know is that the seats in my 09 wrx sucked. They were comfy but that was it.
Is it easier to make a car with power or one that handles great (not just grip) and is fun to drive? Most companies take the easier route which is power. I rather have a car that feels great and has a great chassis and then add power than the other way around.
