You seriously believe that it does not matter how many cars they sell? It may not be commission based but selling more probably earns raises, while not selling is probably uncomfortable at review time.

This. Tesla is a luxury car marque. Chevy is not. If Mercedes or BMW made a $35k EV sedan, it would sell much better than the Bolt. That and the Leaf has a better interior than the Bolt which is not saying much.

Someone needs to run the numbers for me on this because I am not buying it. Honda Civic lease is $200 per month. I need a minimum of 44 rides a month for work. Add another 12 or so on the weekends and the break even is just a few dollars per ride, which seems to cheap for a ride service to be viable.  Add in waiting…
