oh god I’d just blocked out that it was so shortly afterward, thanks!

I get your point, but with Kate it wasn’t three days after giving birth it was just hours.
That’s a great point. I’m thinking more about the general retreat that Harry and Meghan are making, not just to the picture-on-the-steps thing, but it’s true that the others sibs did it. But in this generation, every time Kate did it, the reaction overwhelmingly, was, “Omg poor thing they made her put makeup on and…
I really feel like all Harry has to do is go on camera with the BBC and say “The media is the reason my mother died when I was 12, and the reason my child will not have her in their life. I’m sure you all will understand my desire for privacy.”
Yeah, I’m not defending R Kelly. He’s a scumbag, but the most of the people caught up our broken criminal justice system are poor, POC who life didn’t give many chances or options and it does them and society a disservice to paint them with the same brush as the worst of the worst.
I dunno, man, corn syrup is pretty awful for you and the environment.
No, I’m with you. I don’t like Noosa either. It’s too sweet and desserty for me.
Shhh... You're ruining people's fantasies with these fact thingies.
Who was Kelly’s manager at the time? He was clearly supplying him underage girls and should receive a piece of this shitpie.
I feel so sorry for the poor women who will have to relive his abuse when testifying in court. What a horrid little man with an oversized ego.
That’s a baseless assertion. The average failure to show rate is about 12%. A recent study showed that court systems could reduce that rate to as low as 6% if they implemented a simple text message court date reminder system, so lets not use personal annecdotes as basis to demonize people caught up in the American…
I have to be in court professionally on a regular basis and, yeah, it’s Bad Decision Theater in there.
I knew he wouldn’t show up to court. Celebrities seem to think they don’t have to if they don’t want to. A crazy amount of non-celebs do, as well. It’s weird. A relative of mine makes terrible decisions and is frequently in trouble with the law. She almost never shows up to court, unless it’s in handcuffs. It…
Siggi’s Vanilla is amazing.
The great thing with the greek/skyr/strained style yogurts is that they are less runny. This makes them really easy to substitute for things like mayonnaise, sour cream, crema, etc. They are fantastic in salad dressings, and subbed for mayonnaise in things like tuna or egg salad. Or even as a sandwich spread.
Am I the only one who really dislikes Noosa? I hate the name, I hate the spelling of the word “yoghurt,” I hate the container, and I hate the pudding texture.
I really liked that she was upfront about what she was doing and that she needed it. It sounds like she made a healthy decision to check herself in for help and I like that she does not need to hide it. There’s no shame in getting help if you need it. I hope she might be a role model to others that need the same thing.
Honestly in retrospect I agree with him. The way she was mocked in the middle of an obvious mental health crisis was horrifying.
Yes, this is what people need when they check into a mental health facility to get their mind right: unfunny leeches proliferating conspiracy theories with made-up facts.
My aunt was interviewed and photographed for this story. She loved her job for a long time. Loved it. She’s the fun aunt of the family. We’d stop by her store to watch her do fancy stuff in the middle of fancy things; corporate suit on, bunch of paper work, keys to everything. And even as kids we noticed she was…
