I don’t understand why people who want a hypoallergenic dog don’t just get a goddamn standard poodle - they are smarter, easier to train, and lighter weight than anything crossed with a lab.

I know quite a few people with doodles. They all spent over $1000 for what is basically a boutique mutt. They’re great dogs but highly overpriced. I have a shelter “doodle” that is 75% lab and 25% poodle. I’d take him over a legit bred doodle any day. His curly poodle hair goes down his spine so it’s not visible…

Vaping uses higher levels of nicotine than in a normal cigarette. It’s easier to use it more frequently and every time they do because they are now HIGHLY ADDICTED TO NICOTINE, they are aspirating oils. I can’t believe nobody thought this would be an issue sooner. I’m sorry about your friend, I hope for his recovery! 

So, you believe whatever legal ingredients are in your vape are welcomed into your lungs? Your lungs are unharmed and getting better than what they would be  (not in comparison to effects of smoking)?

Tell that to my friend’s fiancee and his family....he is sitting in the hospital right this very second with a lung infection that won’t go away and is resisting all forms of antibiotic. He didn’t vape any blackmarket THC. He has been vaping, normally and legally for about 2 years.

Unless they’re also talented entertainers or speakers, writers shouldn’t be celebrities anyway; the best of them is on the page.

I read Ethan Hawke’s book, The Hottest State, when it came out while I was in college. I remember not hating it, but it wasn’t amazing or anything.

Totally agree. Reminds me of the idea that people would vote for Bush the Lesser because they “could have a beer with him” - I don’t want a president I’m comfortable having a beer with.  I want a president so intelligent, with such a grasp of the issues, that I’m terrified I’ll say something stupid in their presence…

I honestly can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic...She & Him is pretty popular still and has like 5 (maybe 6) albums.
