I ate congee in many parts of Asia when I was there. It is actually pretty good. They seem to like it for breakfast in a lot of places.

I do love this book, but if they adapt it, I really hope they stick to a single self-contained season. I don’t want to sit through two seasons and then have it cancelled before the third without a payoff.
