Based on a book that is informed by the state of race relations in the earlier part of the century, combined with Lovecraftian cults. I tried to read it (it is good) but the spot on racism is too painful for me. I loved the fact that the (one of) the protagonists is a black man who’s super into sci-fi and horror.
