That probably felt really good to write. But there will be at most one bipartisan action, so that every House member can point to it and say, “See? I’m not partisan!” and after that the knives will come out. NO DEMOCRAT WANTS TO HELP TRUMP’S AGENDA.

No, black-and-white thinking is a sign democracy is not working.
Thank you, your highness.
Josh Hart did something similar the other night ... but just with one foot.
Nah, it’s all good. It wouldn’t mean any more to me in joules.
Jaysus feckin’ Christ,* what is it with foot-pounds? This is driving me mad. It’s not even a unit of force! Can’t you relate it to something we understand, like newtons or the size of Manhattan?
Yeah so sorry you couldn’t have the country we had growing up, the one where we expected to be bombed into nuclear annihilation every second but still enacted laws to protect the environment from the generation before us and tried to move the needle on civil rights but of course its all because we know how to go to…
If eggs aren’t chemically washed* then they’re safe to store at room temperature. The wash is standard in the US but not in Europe.
Forgive me if this has been asked before, but does this show get any better? I’m really disappointed in it. The comic is great but sometimes a little thin ... but the visuals were amazing. The visuals are gone, toned down to a PG-13 CW show, and Sabrina so far is a cute clone of Harry Potter.
I was 40. I made the mistake that day of being transfixed by the coverage and I had to explain why the towers fell to my 3.5 year old daughter.
Every generation inherits it. Boo hoo, you grew up in a world where others made bad decisions before you were born? Guess what — now you’re the one passing down the shitty world.
They’re changing the espresso recipe? What the hell does it have in it, besides espresso?
Cills is absolutely right -- this was definitely an opportunity. Why then didn’t she take it instead of simply pointing it out? Then we would have something of value to talk about.
The fried onions really puzzle me ... were they already commercially available when the recipe was published? They must have been, since no cook is going to dump 2 cans into a casserole and then spend time carefully slicing, caramelizing and frying onions to sprinkle over them.
Besides, people get all crazy about buckeyes and the exact proportions, shapes, etc. Not worth getting into.
Might as well have put it in a pastry bag and piped it right up his ass. I mean, really.
Or also, American in spirit. Basically American food that hasn’t been invented yet.
Scots will fight you over that. And probably are ...
Pun acknowledged. Have a star.
