Answering the question you want to be asked, not the one you were asked, is standard operating procedure for anyone being interviewed. Especially if you’re being interviewed by MK.

Wow, low expectations :)

rather than comment on nostalgia, it’s preoccupied with rich people and the pursuit of material objects

I’m a lot older than 35, so I understand that the evolution of dogs was basically up to humans. There are no wild beagles. We selected the most docile garbage eaters and bred them. Hence the many breeds with chronic health problems.

Yeah, Katie, can’t you see how this looks that you’ve introduced a topic some of us have never heard of before immediately after merging with Gizmodo? Can’t you imagine how this feels for them? Whatever this is, it’s not inclusion.

For them, it’s against bigotry, but not in the right way. Which was only discovered last week.

Michael Corleone is a good example, but not the first. For another example of falling from love to darkness, think “Lucifer”.

I held out for the first two seasons, because I’m a fucking snob. My loss, the show is great.

If you’re into small icy moons, fine. I’ve heard Enceladus is really tiny. Everyone is saying it. It’s an embarrassment.

Barry, I’m sorry, but you’ve been influenced by mainstream media on Saturn. Sure, it’s in the news. But cooler than Jupiter? Never.

It re-solidifies back into cheese again.

Another tip: If you want All-Clad, you can find the older models discounted heavily on Amazon and other places. Sure, shell out the big bucks for 5-ply pans if you want. But the 3-ply ones are a still great if you aren’t made of money.

Good call on Barkeeper’s Friend. You can do anything to a stainless steel pan and then polish it out with BF. Just don’t get any of it on you! That stuff makes Comet look like Colgate toothpaste.

Try paying attention to how things work.

Describing Pelosi as “Thatcher-y” makes me doubt your judgement.

Were that true, Pelosi wouldn’t have been shouted down.

Glad to see you came away from it embittered and cynical ...

Wikipedia says the book was published in 1964, so my guess is that Charlie actually found half a crown in the snow. If I had my version I would check. But not 50p, no way.

Samuroid? Really? Is he made of Legos? Does he transform into something? “Half cold, unfeeling killer, also half cold, unfeeling android. So his origin is what? He fell in a vat of redundancy?”

I think that’s an overreaction. The article focuses on homework being “too hard”, which for my daughter usually wasn’t true. But two hours in fourth grade? When that happens, parents need to be involved somehow, both to figure out what the underlying problem is and to get the teacher to back off if necessary.
