To be fair, we’re kind of dealing with our own political shit show in Scotland right now; about to get dragged out of the EU by a bunch of xenophobic Tories even though we didn’t vote out. I know you Americans think that you’re the centre of the universe, but I think most people don’t have enough energy to deal with

Yeah, but I love that she obviously has no clue what Agape means; after she says it she then clarifies it by saying “live and work together as brothers and sisters.” That’s not Agape, thats Filial love.

Keeping someone on death row is much more expensive.

Haha, yeah this has happened to me too! A few months ago I bought some tampons at a pharmacists and the woman at the counter double bagged them, as if to completely obscure what I had purchased; it was like, be cool lady, they’re just tampons.

I’m 26, so not that old, it’s definitely way more ubiquitous in Europe. I live in Berlin and I see it around quite a bit, and before this I lived in Madrid, where the feminist collective was, and the entire central area of the city has this plastered everywhere.

Yeah, maybe it’s just me, but it’s a pretty obvious mistake; however I used to live in a neighbourhood with a squat run by a feminist community collective, and this symbol was painted all over the place.

I actually got one of these for my bat mitzvah! I had the tag removed a few years ago and now I wear just the chain, I mostly wear dark neutrals for work (sad architect) and such a large chain stands out nicely with a lot of my outfits.

Ugh, stop pretending to care about fat people; just admit that they make you uncomfortable because they don’t fit in with what you imagine to be ‘right’.

This is honestly the best thing I’ve seen on Jezebel in ages. More of this please.

The difference, really, lies in the fact that most Women realise that they can get pregnant from unprotected sex, and that applies to every single man they sleep with, and based on this information they can choose to forgo sex completely if they deem the risks to be too high for them.

TIL that people use cat fur for clothing. For some reason that really weirds me out.

Ugh, I saw that interview with her on the Graham Norton show; the audience and everyone was laughing, but it felt really weirdly strained, my husband and I were both like ‘WTF, that’s not cute, that’s gross’

I know what you mean, I only started watching it after I heard it had been cancelled (I didn’t even know it existed, probably because I’m in the UK); it’s absolutely great, except for the fact that Patti is so incredibly annoying (‘Hey ladies let’s do this really serious thing that could totally compromise all of our

I really love colouring books as well, and I have a good recommendation for a good book! One of my favourites to do was the ‘Bauhaus Style’ colouring book. It’s a lot of architectural sort of grids and axonometric drawings, medium sizes and fairly straight forward to fill in, I think the fun is in choosing your

I love that the first thing you mention is guitar tabs! When I was 12-15 this was literally all I used the internet for, I was constantly on Ultimate Guitar trying to learn new songs and writing my own tabs. Now I’m nostalgic, I have to go dig out my guitar.

I don’t know about the US, but we had the same problems will Polls in the UK, predicting a labour win and a Brexit loss (the opposite of both happened and now we’re left with a pile of shite for a government).

I agree, and I feel bad that people are calling her out for it, because when you live in a certain country for a long time it’s easy to adopt their style of speaking. I’ve lived in the UK for the past 6 years, but I’m originally from Canada. I still have a Canadian accent, but I have definitely adopted a British way

Ugh, my vagina just snapped shut.
