Haha, yeah this has happened to me too! A few months ago I bought some tampons at a pharmacists and the woman at the counter double bagged them, as if to completely obscure what I had purchased; it was like, be cool lady, they’re just tampons.

I’m 26, so not that old, it’s definitely way more ubiquitous in Europe. I live in Berlin and I see it around quite a bit, and before this I lived in Madrid, where the feminist collective was, and the entire central area of the city has this plastered everywhere.

Yeah, maybe it’s just me, but it’s a pretty obvious mistake; however I used to live in a neighbourhood with a squat run by a feminist community collective, and this symbol was painted all over the place.
