I felt like this episode had many problems. And I liked the last five minutes better than rest of it.

The previous two Watchmen articles were posted at noon eastern time. I saw this one orginally had a timestamp of 1:24 am. The timestamp on this one has changed to midnight since then.

I’m really happy to see an another article acknowledging the diversity in writers’ rooms and crews that led to this beautifully and responsibly written show that deals with anti-black American racism.

I have seen a lot of coverage of HBO’s Watchmen talk about it as if Lindelof figured out how to depict American racism all on his own. In the Northeast school usually started the Wednesday after Labor Day. In the South I have seen it start early to mid August. I went to school in the Northeast. My cousins lived in the South. I feel like you skipped the most obvious possibility: it was programmed by white men who almost exclusively only know of non-white women and girls through the lens of pornography and objectification.

There is a long history of children being removed from Native American, Black, and Latinx homes for almost no reason at all by government officials like CPS and treating white families differently.
