The sequel has a pair of amazing action sequences surrounded by Batou and a couple other characters spouting competing philosophical quotes at each other. The animation is great, though, and so are those action scenes. Otherwise, you should really just watch the two seasons of Stand-Alone Complex instead.

They were also showing Out of Control, which starred a pre-Full House Dave Coulier as the straight man in a cast of wacky characters.

I would enjoy that so much. In theory.

Ted Cruz thanks the voters of Texas for that every day.

An Inconvenient Truth 2: Birdemic 3

The absence of a Super Max movie starring Green Arrow is pretty reliable proof that Hollywood doesn't always just do what David S. Goyer would like it to do.

I dunno, the show has found a way to make Samberg tolerable and even funny at times. Which has been a pleasant surprise.

Not really sure that I need more of Hitchcock and Scully on a regular basis.

I am a huge fan of this movie. Clive Owen rules and Giamatti is clearly having a great time.

I enjoyed Engravings, but the amount of enjoyment I got from the album definitely depended on where and when I was listening to it. Bright and sunny days sort of killed its vibe for me.

I think there's a distinction to be made between Fox News' actual viewing audience and the audience they are tailoring their channel to. Conservatives and especially ultra-conservatives, sure, but usually not specifically the elderly. Despite their advertisers.

Fooled You Idiots

Yeah, the Japanese team wanted to protest the judges' scoring about a specific aspect of their guy's pommel horse routine that he was docked for. But to do that, they had to pay the officials a couple hundred dollars in cash to officially file the complaint.

Speaking of protests and formal complaints, I will never forget the scene in London 2012 men's gymnastics watching the Japanese coach having to run up to the judges with a couple hundred dollars cash in his hands in order to make an official protest. One of the more surreal Olympic moments ever.

Can I downvote the entire article for not having a single mention of the amazing "Failsafe"?

I was on board for Mass Romantic but Twin Cinema is my fave.

But hey, guys, let's be real for a second. Neko really should've stepped in and DONE SOMETHING about that mom and her little daughter at the bus stop in Honolulu, right? (my favorite/least favorite part of that review)

I really dig about half of the songs on Mass Romantic, but I think the other half of the album sounds a lot like what it actually is: a bunch of musicians getting together and having a good time and banging out some tracks. Which is fun, but not quite as amazing as they got once they became an ongoing project.

I'd agree with you about Unguided. That's a song that doesn't need to be 6+ minutes. But I am a pretty huge fan of Challengers as well. I bought the (3 additional discs) Executive Edition at a show on that tour and the demos, b-sides, and live material is just great as well. Hearing Newman's versions of the songs

Except, compared to the awesomeness of the drums on Twin Cinema, Dahle doesn't have much of anything to do on Challengers.
