A fantastic record by a fantastic band.
One of the best live bands in the country right now, but this record stands on it's own merit. Top 5 releases for the year so far, and it's been an incredible year for music so far. The PCC record holds it's own against such titans as Obits, Helms Alee, Police Teeth. etc.
It is random! She hasn't been in the Melvins for about 27 years though. The current lineup has Jared Warren on bass (KARP, the Whip, Big Business) and Coady Willis (Murder City Devils, Big Business, Dead Low Tide) on second drums.
One minor correction…
Melvins haven't been a Seattle band for a long, long time… they lived in San Francisco for a long time after, and have been in LA for years.
