It also helps that Beavis and Butthead was never concerned with canon or serious character development in the first place, and the type of person who’s a Beavis and Butthead nerd isn’t going to be a continuity nerd. King of the Hill, by contrast, has way too much emotional and dramatic baggage (and mainstream appeal) f

The secret to the show’s longevity is that it hasn’t changed at all.

Eh, I feel the “Dale\Q-Anon” axis and similar matters is why we're probably better off without a King of the Hill revival.

That 2011 season was probably the show's best season.

Everyone’s saying Adam McKay has gotten really insufferably smug all of a sudden with this movie. Meanwhile, The Big Short literally has a scene of “You rubes are too stupid to understand anything that’s happening in this movie, so here’s Margot Robbie in a bathtub to explain it.”

The first season was very, very good. S2 was a series of backdoor pilots for the Disney Content Factory that forgot to tell a compelling story beyond remember this???

I think if anything, The Matrix Resurrections is an argument against the auteur theory. By not bringing back Laurence Fishburne, Don Davis, and the original fight choreographer from the original trilogy, a lot of people have noted how “off” the new film feels. They were all a part of making the originals as successful

Ironically it was the Unsullied who rode off into the sunset and that ending both blew and they weren't white.

It really stopped making sense when they introduced Kevin Costner and the cast of Yellowstone during the series finale.

I felt like the bigger loss was Hugo Weaving. Groff really didn’t work and their plotline really only works with Weaving returning.

I am, in fact, mocking a comment from the Matrix review.

Super cool to mention story details that were intentionally left out of the trailers.

why didn’t they get Yuen Woo-Ping back to do the fight chorography? His recent work in Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy (2018), was amazing. from reading IMDB, they’ve just got the team that did the John Wick fight scenes to do this film, which doesn’t seem right.

Only if you set aside the central conceit of the Matrix movies, where everyone's life in the Matrix is by definition pointless and soulless.

You should check them out! They’re really good. I personally always love learning about a good movie that I haven’t heard of.

I wonder if the first part of your comment might have something to do with the second part.

A slaughterhouse and a butcher are different places. I have never once purchased meat that had any visible dirt on it. If you have, you need to start buying your meat somewhere else.

Cool! The most common food-borne illness vector is leafy vegetables. Bloody norovirus. (That E. coli O157:H7 can get into such things as spinach is just RUDE.)

So many physical maladies that people associate with aging are just the slow accumulation of not using your body and treating it like a garbage can.  Barring actual injuries, most joint and back issues can be fixed or greeeeatly reduced with physical therapy/training and a reasonable nutritional approach.

As somebody who has shoulder and ankle issues, I wouldn’t be able to function day to day if my labrum wasn’t repaired and the pec surgically reattached.
