I think he’s spoken before about doing ten films *but* that Kill Bill Vol. 3 wouldn’t count as it’s part of an existing film - much like he counts Vols. 1 and 2 as one film in his filmography.

I believe he’ll be back for this, as much as he claims otherwise. But if he needs a decade to do other shit and come back with even cooler ideas then that’s cool too.
Aww man, I feel like his career wouldn’t really be complete without Kill Bill vol. 3. Usually I hate piling on sequel after sequel but that story just cries out for a role reversal with Beatrix & Nikki.
Disagree. Eternals still feels like a gamble. So does Shang Chi. It feels like Marvel is taking the lesson of Guardians and going to the next level - can it build an entire phase around heroes that casual fans are unfamiliar with.
If we learned anything from the Watchmen TV show, it’s that there are a lot of people who don’t have a clue what their “favorite comic” was actually about. I can’t wait for this show.
I used to agree with you, but nowadays if there’s something I love being adapted, I’m fine with the project takes creative risks and not just adapt as close as possible. Gaiman’s work has always been ‘avant-garde’, and I just hope it will continue ruffling feathers. Even if it’s bad, I’ll always have The High Cost of…
I love the British slang word “shouty” and wish we used it more here in the States.
The problem, as usual in articles like this, is the lack of context. Yes, $4B is eight times $500M. Yes, $4B sounds like a lot of money.
If you’re at O’Hare, the most correct answer is Tortas Fronteras. Publican has its merits, but Tortas Fronteras is probably the best food in the airport. (Hmm, we’re actually leaving town next week, I can’t remember what terminal we’ll be in...)
The first 5 seasons? That’s a new, bizarrely small window for “golden era Simpsons”, even JUST looking at the season six episodes.
I think you’re right. It wouldn’t make sense otherwise.
Because there are thousands, if not more, “cute” hetro couples on TV and close to no out, gay mothers.
For me, the theater experience has always been a mental health refuge. Now that I’m fully vaccinated I have to think about whether that experience will be soured if I encounter assholes without masks on or hear someone coughing in the theater.
Apparently Bam has been cut out of Jackass 4 for sadly predictable reasons....
I think the best Jackass material has a thread of Looney Tunes in it... like the giant hand slap stunt. If they lean on things like that, it will be just as fun.
I have a soft spot for the original three (or six if you count the .5 ones) Jackass films, I really do. At least some parts of them. The dumb stunts of this group of effectively mid-late 20s and then into early-mid 30s by the third one (it’s surprising how much older Knoxville is compared to some of the others…
I think the problem more is that people that get ‘cancelled’ usually double down on their views or paint themselves as the victim. they get so caught up in how it reflects on them that they never consider how their views reflect on the people they harmed.
It’s a great point. What’s weird is that a lot of comedians only feel the need to defend traditionally “offensive” jokes when someone says that the jokes haven’t aged well, but they often ignore the fact that a lot of comedy just doesn’t age well overall. For instance, a rapping grandma.
Imagine how many people only get their news from Facebook or Twitter without bothering to look anything up on their own to verify the information. Now imagine that was all state controlled.
Yes, conservatives are well-known for ignoring things they disagree with. Cool story, bro.
