I went to Thailand last year, and Hainanese Chicken Rice was probably the most pleasant surprise. It looks like diet food but the rice is just amazing. TBH the unfried chicken was great but not essential to the dish, so I'm sure frying it is a strict upgrade, if you don't care about authenticity.

Can you also wash that down with a bowl of Coca Cola rice?

I made the mistake of ordering grilled chicken once on a salad, and it was disgusting. The problem was, since the chicken was reconstituted, it tasted like a chicken sausage, which at room temperature on a salad tasted like it could have salmonella. I agree with you. I just don't see the point of saying "they don't have empathy so I refuse to apply any empathy for them." That's the trap I'm trying to express, and a lot of people who've responded to my first comment I believe are falling into that trap.

Are there any good probe thermometers? Last time I checked, all the best thermometers were instant-read. I guess it makes sense probes would be universally bad: if you have a probe sitting in the oven, you have to worry about it reading the probe's temperature and not the meat.

Denis Villeneuve directed this movie so I have high hopes. Moreso than for Alient Covenant.

I'd love to play replay SMG 1 and finish SMG 2, but it's kind of asinine to play those ports on the Wii U (you have to boot into Wii mode, which has some friction and looks completely awful).
