In New York City, normal tickets are $14. AND the AMC theaters are the best non-independent theaters. It's a pretty good deal if they honor that price. Especially if you can pick and choose which months you re-up.

While I liked Guardians of the Galaxy, the Marvel-ly stuff didn't do it for me. If I had to pick one crowd-pleasing sci-fi movie of the year, I'd pick Edge of Tomorrow.

Re: Golden Globes — it's because to be eligible, 6 episodes had to have aired, and here we are, days after the announcement, at number 6. Weird scheduling on HBO's part, if they were responsible. I really hope they remember next year (or just go fuck themselves, the Emmys is where its at).

I think (oddly enough) a recent Buzzfeed article looked into why The Comeback was originally cancelled. Basically, a lot of shows that were very inside Hollywood premiered at that time, including Entourage, so The Comeback never really made the impact that it should have. A huge shame.

I just crammed it over a couple days. It takes a little bit to set (I'd say about three or four episodes), but the show is great and well worth watching. Kudrow is fantastic.
