I saw it in IMAX 3D. I couldn't imagine seeing it any other way. I suspect 3D is used very sparingly; I didn't notice it for long stretches of time, and when I did, it enhanced the scene.

Comedy premises never really "sound good":

My impression of this news is that Vince Gilligan worked on the project long before Breaking Bad, and only now has it gotten green-lit (under a new writer). Since David Shore is announced as the EP and showrunner, I'm guessing it's his show and that Vinny is only getting an EP credit because he originally developed it.
