I've never listened to Avenged Sevenfold. Going by how they look, seems like I should keep it that way.

I'm curious: has any other network drama pilot scored so well? Has any drama pilot in general?

There's at least one episode where Huell Howser is on Jesse Ventura's chest (or maybe vice versa), and Huell winds up on Paul F. Tompkin's chest. Maybe it's on Best of 2011 or something?

Trenchant insight!

I've been binging on The Shield all weekend, and am up to the start of Season 3. Holy fucking shit that show's dark.

"Habemus" is "We have." I think you mean "Habes" for "You (singular) have."

Didn't the Post say Howard Stern was a lock on it a week ago? Why are we taking them seriously now?

I haven't used the new Podcasts app yet, but I must respectfully disagree that the reel-to-reel was a good thing. It certainly was charming, but it was also extremely performance intensive, and it would bring my old iPhone 4 to a crawl.

Ooh, how does it feel to be in the basement with Cake Boss?

I feel like it's more likely that Eddie Murphy IS brilliant, and it's just his carefully manicured public image that's holding him back. Remember last year, when he was going to host the Oscars and there were rumors that he'd start standup again? And how excited everyone was until AssBook fucked it up? Comedy nerds

If that's your use case, a Chromebook or shitty netbook would probably perform better.

I would also like to suggest Jeselnik Offensive. The first episode was hit-or-miss, but the next two were hilarious.

I didn't know VM fans were called marshmallows? Martians I can understand…

"Nine Sweaters" has been out for a long time — Amazon lists its release year as 2008.

Complete Garbage.

If you're not a Nielsen test subject, you're probably best off buying the show off Amazon or iTunes since your viewership can be measurably counted.

HL2 Episode 2 came out in 2007. Episodes 1 and 2 comprise enough content to be considered HL3.

Eria Tarka is a good song.

"Trashy Blonde Bitch" is a terribly inaccurate way of describing Lucy Punch on the show.
