Why do they still allow those wall kick-outs? Seems like such a bad idea.

It would be awesome! You’d need an entire donor vehicle for the chassis/unibody, and strip that back to bare metal and rebuild with M3 components, really.
Don’t forget that Stewart won’t be paying this fine by himself; he’s part of the Sprint Driver Council, a group of 9 that are “elected” by all Sprint Cup drivers. This suggests that this opinion is not unique in the garage area.
Here’s the thing: Apple collects information about how their devices are used; percentage of time spent in their apps, how much storage space is available, those sorts of things, more often than we think. Collected when an app crashes, the logs stored for diagnostics are invaluable as resources to the software…
Very pedantic. In these legal rights violations, it’s extremely important. What I stated still stands.
You are open to copy Apple. They didn’t spend 10 years developing the iPhone to give its secrets away.
I trust them. They’ve never given me reason to believe that they DO collect information without my consent. The only info they get from me is app analytics, and other diagnostic services that benefit the software teams and make the apps I use more reliable.
If - I’ll repeat, IF - you let them have access. No one is forcing you to sign up for any of these services, no matter how convenient they maybe. And thus you still have full control over what you share.
Now there’s a contradiction in terms. “Freely given on request” is an oxymoron, while you seem to be just a moron. “Request” = warrant. Warrant = probable cause. Educate yourself a little bit: http://www.apple.com/privacy/govern…
Pretty much. BMW of NA itself, though, has been great. Invited me out to test drive (small dragstrip, autocross) some new cars, even though I am not likely to be in the market for a new BMW for another 5 years, at least. And I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with other BMW-related businesses. My local…
And a graceful one at that!
Thank god they don’t. GPS verified top speeds could get expensive really fast in the California desert... allegedly.
“No open innovation related to Apple” - what do you consider the iPhone? A failed, private innovation that affected very few peoples’ lives?
Apple is probably one of the best companies to trust as far as data logging goes. They don’t make money from selling your data or using it; Google and Facebook both depend on it. Apple sells hardware, not information. Also, Apple never collects your data against your permission. Ever seen how many setup screens there…
Also, wear a tinfoil hat to keep the government from reading your mind. -_-
I found an easier way. I got a CarFax for my used e39, and then called the dealerships listed. They gave me everything I needed to know (labor, parts, date, and mileage) without all the “black sharpie” stuff necessary. Oh, and the Houston, TX area BMW dealer was much more friendly than my local Irvine, CA dealer.…
It’s on the pumps at the station I go to regularly - a Ralphs/Food 4 Less fuel center - in California. Much appreciated, too! It tells me that my county is applying a tax to the gas. :/
YES. I wish my place of employment would adjust their pricing to be even dollar amounts with taxes. It would make coin change irrelevant, and that would be awesome. However, it would be unfortunate for the homeless couple that comes in on Sundays and pays in their collection of quarters...
I had a long and somewhat confusing route to my love of cars. Early in my life, my grandfather, a simple Virigian-turned-Hoosier electrical worker with a small field of crops, would take me around the field on his riding lawn mower. Being from the California/Los Angeles suburbs, to a tiny city tot like me, that was…
Maybe T60? My e39 has a T60 boss on the A/C belt tensioner.
