Mmmm, yes. Love the extended leather, two-tone interiors. I’d love to pick up (or custom-create) a Daytona Violet/dark purple exterior 2002-2003 e39 M5, with the interior above. Something about purple and caramel tickles my fancy just the right way.

Let’s see... Eat McDonald’s? Install the Ferrari GT3 suspension and bodywork bits? ;)
Didn’t even think of that, but that’s true.
There is no reason for over fenders either.
I had a similar thought, but with black wheels, the grey breaks it up a little more:
Haha, like this? (my filthy Black Sapphire e39):
It’s a lot of work, but I think it’s worth it. Black just looks best on most cars, especially if the shape itself is already attractive. Nothing has the same shine as a beautifully conditioned black car.
Interesting, my e39 definitely has a black or dark grey primer underneath. But yeah, it does tend to show imperfections pretty well. Thankfully it seems like the paint itself is pretty hard, and it’s easy to get clean if there’s a good coat of sealant on it. I love the way it has a sparkle in certain light, but looks…
What’s wrong with it? I love it on my e39.
Haha, fair enough. I heard the lyrics say “air you breathe,” which is the only reason I got the joke, too :)
(Look at the name of the song in the video description)
You’re not alone as an emoji outcast! I’m still stuck using stuff like :) and o_O!
Pretty much. My e39 530i broke it’s hood cable today, so I literally cannot fix anything right now...
That’s one beautiful M5! My favorite color, too. I’ve got my eyes out for one, as they’re not getting any cheaper at this point.
No worries, I knew! :)
Listened to the episode on my commute tonight; lots of fun! Really enjoyed it, guys.
Damn, wish I had thought of this. Could have used it on a school project....
Not on one shift, I hope.
Hold on - even with 1100 of driving like an absolute ASSHOLE, I find it hard to imagine that he could destroy a TOB that quickly, especially on a well-engineered, mass market car. And what’s the dealer’s excuse? Is there some sort of escalation you can do, like BMW CCA’s ombudsman?
Ha, no, more like $4000-7000, private party.
