Huh, that’s true. Market research or whatever shows that monochrome sells?

I have no doubt it’s easier to put them in the wheel flat. The e39 came with two separate headlights; clear for ROW (rest of world) and amber for America. Isn’t that orange triangle-shaped thing on the far right a reflector? If it isn’t call me crazy... I can go take pictures of my own car, if necessary. :)

Aventador is understandable; it’s a European car, where primary design considerations aren’t given to the Americans. But home-base cars should always factor in home-base rules first. I think cars like the e39 solved it particularly nicely, with headlights that wrapped slightly around the sides. The first generation

Ouch, that’s worse than BMW’s blue stuff, which is $20 or so per gallon, before mixing with distilled water.

I really hope people don’t buy hybrids to be seen in hybrids, but that might explain why zero people in my neighborhood own a Prius... And I live in SoCal.

I understand, but it still irritates me. It just screams “cheap design.”

Also, I hate tacked on side markers like these; at least integrate them into the headlight design; it looks like there was plenty of room to do so, too.

So is purple coolant a thing now? Why?

Don’t forget slow, safe, reliable (for the most part), and inconspicuous, as well as the total opposite of what the opposite sex is attracted to. Oh, and no one’s going to crash it trying to carve up a canyon.

Such a powerful movie! One of my favorites, simply for the emotion, and, despite that, the lack of sentimentality.

That is atrocious. I hope that’s not there if the option isn’t selected.

It wouldn’t surprise me, as Eddie Cue (Apple’s Senior VP of “Internet Software and Services”; I like to call him “The Stuff” because of his many responsibilities) is on the Ferrari board of directors.

Yeah. It’s not worthy of the name. It should be something to compete with the 7/A8/S-class, not a LaCrosse competitor.

Oooh, my favorite 50s American car. So delicious in dark colors on whitewalls. I’d love to stuff a modern drivetrain and suspension in one and cruise across the country.

It’s front wheel drive, so no.

Yeah, I had a 56K modem just three years ago... Still wait like an idiot for minutes sometimes.

It raised the shift points. I have a 95 Camry with a V6.

I like it, a lot more than I should!

I think you’re discounting the romantic aspects of car design. The Pagani’s have no heritage (at least more than 15 or so years old) to draw from. But each of the cars you mentioned either have or are the heritage. Old money will always be cooler than nouveau riche.

Anyone else see the tie fighter in there? Yes, I may be a little preoccupied...
