... Can’t unsee...

Ooh, my e39 530i looks on with jealousy. I’d love to swap in an e46s S54 and 6-speed in a six-cylinder e39 some day.

It’s nasty stuff. Dissolved my vinyl gloves I sometimes use to apply various liquids quite nicely...

It’s because no one buys BMWs. I think it’s something like 60% of customers who are leasing the cars.

Gah, Kinja bugs. Car Throttle’s comparison of the M3s stated that the e46 was the best to drive.

Is this from the episode where Jeremy is talking to Amy (the one from the skeleton bob) and James is talking to Chris Meeke about the Mini rally car? And yes, that does say something about me; that I remember Chris’s last name over Amy’s. :)

It would smoke my e39 530i, too.

Fair enough. I did like the hand position.

I enjoyed this one. Great content, and some interesting analysis about the president’s mindset when he starts out. I also loved the heated seat comment; hilarious!

He did drive it, just around the lawn.

It's a fascinating series. I loved the one he did in Portland with the classic Saab.

Ah, the angular design of the older Cs was a bit more aggressive and suited the AMG models well. I think this design carries through the range of Cs more suitably.

Uh, despite it looking far more composed and expensive than the model before it? I like the new one way more than the old one. Different strokes for different motors, I guess. ;)

I’ve not heard of this one before! Thanks for the tip!

And the creepy dead silence (if the wind dies down) really adds to the ambiance! Make sure to stop in every town you come across that has some sort of store; the people and stories are what make it interesting. I particularly like Hackberry, AZ.

It’s a beautiful drive, and make sure to look at your route and the state parks, roads, etc, that run nearby. North of San Fran is my favorite section, when you’re winding in and out of the redwoods.

Why would you ever want a decontented Rolls? Just buy a BMW 7-series for around the same $100k.

Ugly and impractical (those approach and departure angles, though), this is a true super car. More so than anything Lamborghini and Ferrari make today.

Ah, what could have been...

The brake fluid is what scares me the most...
