Welcome to the iRacing dilemma... See also, Phoenix, Daytona, and others that have changed slightly or not-so-slightly over the years.

One of the best roads, ever. Such a blast in my e39!

We’ll have a full costume guide tomorrow, but on every day that doesn’t begin in “Satur,” dress 20% foppier than you would in any other situation. On Saturday, break out your best blipshift (or maybe Jalopnik) t-shirt.

Someone who previously owned a 650i Gran Coupe down my street has traded it for one of these in black. I went over and drooled on it (kinda) a few days ago. Such a cool car.

But it also limits rear shoulder space, and keeps the door opening small. It’s pretty tight, even for my chunky 5’7” frame.

You hit the nail on the head. It was just plain awful. The PT Cruiser was the first car that I ever drove a stick on. I have a family friend who bought a PT turbo, and got rid of it three years later. He traded it in for a hatchback Dodge Caliber, and said it was an upgrade. Yikes.

Imagine trying to polish all that metal... By the time you get to the other end, you’d need to start all over again!

Honestly, my first thought was, “Where’s Hammond?”

Cool! New factoid for the day!

It’s just the fastest possible pit road entry! Notice the “commitment” cone!

And helmets! Did you see them go flying?

I think it’s a result of Pocono’s famously wide pit lane. It’s probably twice as wide as the pits at Indy, and is one of the widest on the Nascar calendar. Hopefully a simple extension of the wall by about 100 feet or so will better protect the crews better.

Went and looked this up. Was not disappointed. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in just 20 years.

Yeah, unfortunately with my car, a BMW e39, the hood pretty much has to be slammed shut, and no one can shut my doors properly because of their weight. So slam all the things!

I think a Roadkill floor repair is in order - find some big pieces of metal and screw them into place!

I like the wreathless logo; it feels much more modern.

Whoa. Is this life-size?! That’s massive!

I remember reading somewhere that Cadillac had to fight the bean counters really hard to get these done.

What’s all this?
