I have a friend in prison in Texas, Patricia Ray, that was sentenced to life (with possibility of parole when she’s 55) for murder. She was 16 and her 15 year old boyfriend killed a woman they robbed. It was not premeditated - he picked up an iron pipe on the woman’s property and beat the woman to death.

So are we to be surprised that a guy thats done nothing but hit and take hits his entire life has caveman like views? I would be more surprised if he were into fine wines and could discuss the intricacies of 16th century European politics.
