They couldn’t have done worse by your standard of immediate wins. But that was clearly not Hinkies priority.

It takes away tension from the movie (especially since the trailer implied it as a possibility and the comic storyline has a huge death). It makes the movie less enjoyable for someone who reads this headline before seeing it.

No, but you’re trying to attract readers. Pissing a bunch off by spoiling a movie less than a week after it’s release seems unwise. It’s not like the article is so important it couldn’t wait. Or that it would be hurt with a warning or less explicit title.
