My Z/28 has the simplified 2010 stereo like the above 370Z, I LIKE it quite a bit, simple, gets the job done. Car was meant to be analog.

They’re certainly not doing it because it’s beneficial to you (or harmful to them). That’s one immutable fact of rental cars.... NOTHING is one sided to benefit you and if you think it is, it’s actually twice as bad as it was 5 minutes before.

I can tell you that policy sure doesn’t exist now....

My company rents exclusively with AVIS and when I am in Jacksonville (among other places) I will drive 30-40 miles and that’s it.

If you drive under 75 miles, they insist on seeing a receipt where I put gas in it since I rented and “will” charge you 2 gallons worth…
