“Give me the price that if someone beats it, you don’t feel like you lost.”
ARRRRGHHHHH!!!!!!!
WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!
Ahem... sorry, I’m okay now.........
Nope, not okay unless the car was in danger of massive/total damage, the driver would be in danger should you not have touched it, etc....
I can think of dozens upon dozens of alternative situations that would depict how this isn’t cool even when you THINK you are helping. But here’s the easiest one.... would you tie a…
I feel your pain.... also got it alot when shopping 18 GTIs.
Not sure about you but I don’t need Tom to tell me.... I have a blanket-style pessimism and I have NEVER been wrong.
I got this ALL the time when I shopped for my partner’s GTI..... Those dealerships generally got one freebie where I just ignored it and asked if they needed any more specifics/details about what I was looking for prior to sending over the quote.
Then again, I always stated in each email that I had already driven the…
You’re damned straight I am going to shop it around.... And if you are the lowest, I will buy from you.
The ONLY reason not to provide it, is if you KNOW you aren’t going to even TRY to be the lowest and your price will provide a very easy challenge to beat (so not only do you not get the sale, but someone else makes…
Why not?
May not have to.... like how Tennessee fined “me” for running a red light. In TN it goes to the car owner unless you can prove and are willing to Narc on someone who borrowed your car.
Still better point-to-$ value than Dave/Busters gives...
60,000 points for a game that sells for $10 at Best Buy? Pfft.
Really this.... though, they could probably easily just hit you for the 93mph stuff, because doubling the video speed would leave some signs.
You remember the clusterfuck that happened during the C7 Launch? When they gave all those journalists Corvettes... then spent the next day bailing them out.
That’s like asking why a Boxer can’t resist punches better....
Only so much you can do, bro.
I mean, if I was a kid, I’d be much more interested in the R8 than the A4.... but may buy the A4 because I like the R8.
I guess what I’m saying is I think you’re both correct.
Honestly, what they always do.
And will be shut down by the MPAA (MoPedAcceleratorAssociation)
The announcement was electrifying, but buyers appear to be insulated from interest.
They have plenty of bikes that pass $30k with little to no options.
If I remember correctly, the one bike they had I was interested in was like $24k starting and something like $27k with the options I wanted.
Talk about their baggers and other touring stuff and I think you start way past 30k.
Not that this isn’t a very bad look for the design.... but its worth noting that H-D very commonly pauses factory production (usually once but sometimes twice per year) for time periods extended to a few months so that supply closely matches demand.
I used to work for a company that had some of our castings made by the…
Interestingly, there isn’t a thing as a “Numbers Matching” Mach 1. Ford did not VIN stamp their engines or transmissions back then.
The most you can hope for a is a Period-Correct engine (meaning all the castings, etc were in use during the time the car was built).
