As a Boston fan, I was rooting hard for Ray Bourque to win with the Avs.

This kills me to admit it, but Seattle SHOWED UP. That was legit crowd support.

Great win by the US. There was actually a good long stretch where the US held possession and when they attacked, really had some flair. I especially remember a nice sequence of one touch passes on the left side. Refreshing to see.

Did anyone else watching on FS1 notice that the match direction was especially terrible last night? There were what seemed like a half-dozen occasions when the ball would go out for a goal kick throw/in, FS1 would cut to a replay, and WHAM next thing you know Bobby Wood is being played in on goal/down the wing.

But…
