At least he got a nice coat out of it, and one more scene with vanessa- which reminds me- how did he know where she lived?

Nope. He was at vanessa's funeral. But who knows where he went after that
Yeah, that's what bugs me about this; why did he set this show in victorian times, with all these literary figures, have them surround vanessa ives, and then do next to nothing with them? It was all about HER. At the end, the charcters are more or less where they started, or in linbo, and the wolf of god bit, i felt…
Well, i for one liked the music, but i'm wondering if it was the same one we had in season one. Would i find them on the penny dreadful soundtrack?
That's just it; given the whole build up of how ethan was the wolf of god- ultimately, he didn't need that particular talent to save the world from dracula. All the crap he went through in the old west, all the people he killed, all the torment, because keatanay thought he was giving him a "gift", all of it amounted…
Yes, but once she's revived, it's amunet in charge…
And a whimper.😢
One of the many wishes i had that went unfufilled, was hoping john clare would find a place amongst sir malcom's group. And victor's crimes were never really addressed; his whole conversion back to the good guys table seemed like everything else about victor, totally random. Finally watched the ending, and while…
Hmmm. I haven't watched the episode yet, and i'm not sure i want to. Penny dreadul has been, more often than not, a frustrating show for me. A show of unrealized potential, and curious plot points. Now, at the end(?) i'm wondering what was the point of it all? Why these characters? They just never went as far with…
Yeah, see? Something else for rusk to do. I wonder if scotland yard even knows he's dead.
I don't understand ethan's relationship with keatanay; for awhile there, he hated the guy, but last night, he treated him like a long lost uncle. And ethan's history with south dakota tribes didn't track with me either.
I'm increasingly getting the feeling that penny dreadful is going to end after this season- all of the characters seem to be nearing the end of their journeys. John Clare is reunited with his family, Dorian seems to be developing a conscience, and the others are preparing to fight Dracula, the big bad. And then what?…
Well, maybe vanessa could do that… If she wasn't so busy.
Well, he doesn't exactly know what happened to him; how would he explain it?
Well, even if rusk did survive, there's no way they could get him to the nearest town, which was at least a two days away ride, in his condition, so yeah, i think he's toast. But maybe he has a twin brother who's an egyptologist !
I've been waiting for John Clare to integrate into the main story since the show started.
I know i did. (sigh)🐊😔
I really hope rusk isn't dead; he's become one of my favorite characters on this show. It'll make it a bit herder for me to watch this show if it does come back next season.
Wow. The entertainment weekly review told me more than this did. I'm still watching it, so I'll be back. But, I hope the mummy theory is accurate; I'm a sucker for Egyptian themed stories. While I'm still watching it, I'm really not sure where the Dorian/ lily story is going; I've felt that way a lot this season. It's…
I just hope rusk will be around to offer redemption to Ethan.
