I saw this from the other angle. It’s like a 10' foot drop, at most, to the road below. And maybe 10' further down the driveway, the direction the car ultimately drives, to the road.
Send out checks to everyone—more money supply—so there’s less value. And we get inflation—only an idiot couldn’t see that effect coming.
If you could look past yourself for a moment, you’ll realize that the market has spoken, and its saying that a great deal of people like the more upright seating position and perspective/confidence it gives them on the road (and hard to blame them as a sedan driver thats always getting fucking blinded by headlights…
Anything that gets less then 20mpg, there are enough solid ways to improve efficiency that there is no excuse for things getting anything less.
For a minute there I thought it was a new Lexus

Charging AA’s over USB is used in some Logitech mice I have, for example, I think there just has to be some warnings here and there not to use alkalines and USB-charging at the same time. So you can use alkalines in a pinch but you have to take them out if you connect the USB-cable.
I’ve got 16 eneloops that I have been using since the XBox 360 that I got through an amazon deal. Combined with a nice charger that refreshes the batteries and I’ve got well over a decade of use with them.
Eneloop batteries, the ones typically recommended for rechargeable, are good for 2100 charge cycles. In my experience (although not a heavy gamer) they’ll last for at least a week of use. Light gaming or just using it as a media box, I often don’t have to swap batteries for 2-3 weeks. Charging once a week means…
Rechargable batteries do degrade over time but that applies to the internal ones too. The difference is with AAs you can dispose of the old ones and buy some more. With the internal batteries if they do wear out you’re going need a new controller or try to replace it yourself.
