They won’t. Driving/car culture in Germany is vastly different than in North America. The perception there is that fit and finish implies that the entire car has been well engineered, true or not. There is no way that the general public in most of Germany will accept a vehicle with poor fit and finish.

I feel like when you meet in person is the only time a buyer really has the right to negotiate. Not allowing them to see the item for sale in person before final negotiation isn’t terribly fair. If people low-ball me, I tell them to meet me in person and then we can talk about a price that works for both of us. This

Lacombe is a small town, but I'm not sure I'd go straight to awful.

But this is NEW GM. New GM wouldn’t do anything like old GM. So please don’t worry about, or bring up what OLD GM did, this is a new company with new, fresh ideas. New GM would never take advantage of their shareholders, so please give them all your money, because Cadillac sales are up 2.4%

You’ve got to celebrate the small victories. That and appease shareholders. Never forget to look good to your shareholders...

Every once in a while I come across a post that makes me think: "Jalops are my people". This is one of those times.

It is an honest question, I don’t know what is wrong with it being a Hyundai. But seriously, what about it being a Hyundai hinders it?

How/why is that a problem? Honest question.

My love of mountain bikes and automobiles finally overlap! Unfortunately, I’m knowledgeable enough about the topic to let you know, that this particular folding “Hummer” bike is a counterfeit, and also a design ripoff of the Klein Mantra. However Hummer did sell some cheap Chinese bikes in the early to mid 2000's,

They aren’t entirely the same, but also not entirely separate either, the case could be made that they are unified. All the Mitsubishih companies have wa conference with one another every single Friday. Can’t really call them separate with that kind of integration.

NP. I recently bought a manual 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring wagon with 150000km (93200 mi) for $3200. If this 2007, 187000 mi, old, GM Swedish-American, I would have dropped the Korean like it was hot for it, knowing fully well that it would likely cost me the cost of entrance of the Hyundai annually to maintain. I have no idea how that Renault Encore made it out of the decade that created it. I had a friend who had one that was less than ten years old, and it was already headed for the scrap heap. They were particularly miserable and poorly made automobiles.

Tell Scotty Kilmer, he’ll take it and make at least a good 20 clickbait videos out of it!

My wife and I visited the Wall Museum almost 5 years ago to the day. I remember coming across the Isetta, because I am intrigued by, and love them, and read the story of how they snuggled people with an Isetta and was fascinated. Great to hear it retold here.

The Calgary Car2Go operation actually had more GLA and CLA’s in their fleet than Smart’s, they were just an aweful lot harder to spot because their decals were much more subtle. If you are looking for them, they were littered everywhere around the downtown core and surrounding area.

I’ve always dreamt of finding a shell of a Triumph TR6 with (I would feel bad tearing one with all it’s bits apart) and putting everything, suspension, electric components, etc from a wrecked MX-5 Miata in it. With the announcement/speculation of a Mazda inline 6, that would be the engine I’d love to fit to it. Not

Why would cleaner air going out than going in an engine be an issue for anyone?!?

You could buy every single tool, part and consumable required to perform each and every single one of these repairs; you could even go as far as to pay a mechanic who does pay all of those expenses, and still have enough left over to buy, say a nice fishing boat, or European vacation.

Rear engine, no need for a big grille up front, cause the coming happens from the rear.

I legitimately think this is one of the most interesting modern Mercedes. This is actually at the top of my list for “Any Mercedes I’d Buy with My Own Money” list. It’s a quirky minivan, and that is hard not to love.
