In 1949 a car would have a luxury for any 17 year old.

This makes me immensely happy. I do a lot of driving for work, and this is very near to the top of the heap. I've turned many a podcast listener onto it, car enthusiast or not, it's that good of a podcast.

Yeah, but at least he's still alive to talk at parties...

I think it is more linked to showing true sales numbers for each brand. The reason why Ford always comes out on top is they don’t delineate any of the F-Series pickups. The 150 and Super Duty’s aren’t there same vehicle in any way, but their numbers are combined, it’s a little disingenuous if you ask me. I do respect

What?!?

Besides the fact that minivans have the best dollar to practicality of any family vehicle on the market, barring absolutely none, and the fact that they are objectively one of the most practical vehicles for modern, everyday usage; you are totally right.

I’ll pat you on the back too, clearly you made the right call on this one.

I think you like the idea of the MGC better than the MGB. The MGC, driven back to back with an MGB is not, by any means, a superior car; I may go as far as to say it is actually inferior...But an I6 Miata is a fantastic idea.

There is also a Subaru Baja there. I think someone needs to be taking advantage of this gold mine!

So horsepower is down, but in it’s compression ignition cycle, does it not get more torque like a diesel engine? If it did, it would kind of negate the power difference making up for it with many torques.

Yeah, the RB was about the only thing special about this car. Mustangs are by no means bad cars, but certainly in no form are they worth $180,000. US production that year alone was over 472,000, no car that sold half a million in a year is worth the price they are asking, unless you include the one item that defined

65 to 75  ‘65 to ‘75

The Blazer was an anonymous, middle-of-the-road SUV for a very healthy portion of it’s existence. We just let it live out the only reborn existence it ever had any chance of having.

I think you need to go back do some math on those generational divisions... Gen X’s are not 65 to 75, most of that age would solidity be in the Baby Boomer category. If you were born in say, 1950, arguablybthe peak year of the Boomer boom, you would be 69... Smack dab in the middle of what your are referring to as Gen

Less power. Because racecar???

They are essentially the same size. The Tacoma is a bit wider in the cab, but that is the most appreciable difference between the two size-wise outside of a few millimeters here and there.

It doesn’t shock me that someone would want it, but it does surprise me that there was enough interest in it to create a whole contest around it!

We are talking late 90's... But strangely, the movie store in my home town still exists by some strange twist of fate, and the fact that town is stuck in a time vacuum/vortex.

Oh boy, my wife is lucky we are buying a house and all our money is tied up there. Otherwise she would have the good fortune of finding this in our driveway. I have very fond memories of this movie. The owner of the movie store in town asked me and my friends if we wanted to just buy the DVD from her, because we were

No, they have to test every body/engine/ driveline combination. That's a lot of combinations.
