They did it in an attempt to reduce friction, but said they had no idea if it would work. Probably won’t, but fun idea anyhow.

Tavarish and B-is-for-Build just did this to their drift Explorer with the exact opposite purpose in mind...
Why in the world can’t they be?!
There were plenty of choices, people just chose not to choose them...
Driving a terrible car in anger certainly isn’t the wrong way to drive it.
Yep. Grade-A terrible. The first time I watched it a friend said, “If you love cars you have to watch this movie!”, he wasn’t wrong, but that doesn’t mean it was good.
No disagreement about the LGBTQ community, I was involved in the AIDS walk a couple years ago in Edmonton and was impressed with how well it was received and supported by both the LGTBQ community and the community-at-large.
I’ve lived in many different places in Alberta. From small towns no bigger than 500 people, to the largest three cities. And this is simply not true. I grew up near Edmonton, and spent a fair amount of time living there. I’d love to say Edmonton is more progressive than Calgary, but it sucks to say, it’s just not the…
Canada is a big country with lots to see, we’d love to have you. Just do me, and yourself a favor, wait at least until spring.
Fair enough point, I can get behind that. I have spent most of my life in rural towns and as much as small towns can be small-minded I’ve been equally blown-over by how supportive and accepting they can be at times when they don’t let the fear of “difference” get in the way, and do what they do best by accepting…
Not waving any flag. I came to Alberta as a result of economic factors, not desire. Like I said, it’s not my first (for that matter second or third) choice of places to live, but I’m here and I might as well see what good there is here, and there is a surprising amount of good to be found. If one story voids…
Can be done, but car needs to be considered “used” before importing into USA, meaning 10,000 miles must be on the odometer.
I fully agree with you! Alberta isn’t even my first choice of places to live and raise a family, but I think the province, and the City of Calgary in particular have made some amazing strides in the past decade or so. I’m happy to call it home for the time being.
Honestly, Calgary is where I’m shocked to see this the most in Alberta, I would be less shocked if the news came from Edmonton, Red Deer, Medicine Hat, Fort Mac, Lethbridge. Etc etc etc... It only gets more probable the smaller the town gets in Alberta. Close-mindedness/unwillingness to accept people with different…
I live in Alberta, can confirm.
That’s not true, while the original Dodge Ram, wasn’t any wider due to regulations, the new pickups are massively taller: in 1981 the tallest Ram was 76 inches, today the tallest is 88 inches. There is a massive difference. At 6'3" I used to be able to reach into the bed of any full-sized pickup and touch the bottom,…
Get over yourself, the author makes no difference whatsoever. Just so you know, in journalism, oftentimes you get assigned stories, you don’t just get to write whatever you want whenever you want; this isn’t the movies. It’s been covered, which was your complaint, it has been addressed more than a few times in this…
Used BMW’s are what give used BMW’s a bad name.
