I actually took that to mean the train was actually moving through water quite briskly. Was wondering how that was even possible.

My family’s 2000 Mazda MPV had roll-down sliding door windows. So no credit goes to Toyota.

It definitely isn’t a relevant test for the Yaris GR, as it highly favors cars tuned for safety aka boring to drive. What they do mention in the video which is key is that the Yaris comes *out* of the maneuver still going quickly (same thing is brought up in their Miata video). For most cars the stability control will

At least for the newest generation vehicles, many US models are at least getting all the hardware, so enabling the features is a simple code away. My guess is manufacturers haven’t had it high up enough on their list to lobby for updating US light regulations. With so many cars shipping with matrix LEDs and laser

It is standard on pretty much everything being sold everywhere except North America. I believe I’ve seen it going off on like a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander. Blame the US’ arcane regulations. Hell it might even be mandatory in some places. Otherwise color me surprised at the widespread adoption by the auto industry.

Now playing

This has been standard on most non-American cars for years now. More and brighter lights (usually the rear fogs) will come on along with the regular brake lights under hard braking. If full braking power is invoked, some lights quickly flash. And then the hazards come on once you’re stopped.

Sounds like anything MB from ‘21 on will be on the “avoid” list when shopping for highly depreciated luxury around 2030.

Jason you kill me!

They are the sole battery provider for Formula E (as in they supply the batteries for every Formula E team).

It will probably weigh as much as a Cullinan (and be as rare) but with a Model 3 interior. Still a nice addition to the market.

To actually answer your question... I believe the Model 3 only has one stalk on each side. The right one is the “gear selector” and also operates cruise control (“Autopilot”), while the left one does turn signals, lights, and the one wiper feature. So the stalk is there, but all the stalk operations are already taken

I thought I had suddenly gone completely color blind! He dares us to find another triple-blue but that I dare him to find a worse triple blue offering than what he has! It’s barely off the classic rental silver-black-black Sebring combo! And it’s a Sebring!!!

The white one does indeed have a manual. Shame about the color.

That’s not what the article is saying. The cruise ships themselves aren’t the difference, a few degrees of temperature or a sudden change in pressure” are. The cruise ships not sailing could make a difference in measuring temperature and pressure precisely, making it hard to predict how big a storm is going to be.

It is, actually. 350 Nm of torque, which is just a nice round number. VW/Audi were the first to stick to it and it has just remained as the standard amount of torque for 2.0Ts. All these numbers mean pretty much nothing coming from the Germans. Even as their cars get much quicker while gaining weight, the power

It looks way less sporty than the current design. I think I would have preferred a mild facelift to clean up the current design. The new rear seems bears too much family resemblance to this:

GM doesn’t have them blink, they stay on kinda like some cars leave the headlights on for a little bit as a “follow me home” feature.

Had to scroll through so many comments to find this!!! Where the hell is 20 grand gonna come out of??! 😂

Indeed. Had I been of age in the mid-aughts, I would have been completely fine with the lower tier engine (in the US, that is an NA 3.0). Now when it came time to make an order I knew I had to go for 6 cylinders even if it’s overkill.

You won’t be underwater on the loan for the whole 5 years, though. Having an outstanding loan doesn’t matter if you owe less than the car is worth because you can always liquidate and be at least free and clear.
