Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don’t think the CrossFox was ever even offered with AWD (4Motion, as it would have been badged).

That looks great, actually.
They should be shamed! Not just BMW for even offering halogens (at least in the US) but also whoever actually decides to not tick the $500 lighting package! One of the cheapest options!
The Quadrifoglio is not the same thing as the Q4. Q4 just denotes AWD, as in 330i vs 330i xDrive. Alfa has also made it so you can spec a Giulia 2.0T to look pretty similar to a Quadrifoglio. The easiest way to tell a Quadrifoglio apart is the triangular cloverleaf-on-white-background badge on the front fenders. And…
NP mostly because my mom drove a 21 hatchback from when I was born till I was like 6 and I loved the cloth pattern in the interior. Would definitely haggle it down, though!
It’s a VR6 (2.8, I guess?), according to the badge on the trunk. Seems like the best option.
Most of these ‘busts’ (extremely rare, if you ask me) come from tips from concerned neighbors through the website built specifically for reporting registration cheaters: https://www.chp.ca.gov/notify-chp/cheaters-out-of-state-(out-of-state-registration-violators) License plate readers are not involved, and how would…
Many cars have this feature now (pretty much everything with an electronic parking brake, from a Honda HR-V to every VAG product). And it actually keeps the full brake lights, including the center-mounted 3rd brake light lit even when your foot is off the brake. At least in non-US Audis.
I remember it being pretty cheap! Like $3,400 or something? I knew I should’ve taken a pic of the sign.
Why is it on dealer plates (DLR)?
What about parking for my too-new car?
How likely are spectator tickets to sell out? I live in San Francisco so I might as well go spectate, but I’m not 100% sure I’ll make it (it’s also Pride weekend). Can I just show up and get one at the gate?
Ah, I forgot about the Prado. Really couldn’t fathom why Lexus would do that. That kinda sucks for the US versions, actually :-/
Is there any advantage at all to this side hinge madness? Especially when there’s no heavy spare tire mounted on there (which I assume was the only reason these used to be popular).
E90s have struts, no idea why they went back to gooseneck for the F30.
Replying to myself to update: it seem highly unlikely a current Model 3 could keep up with a 330i, A4 2.0T quattro, or Giulia 2.0T on a track. It will at least last a few full hot laps. Unlike the Model S, which as far as I’m aware can’t go all-out for even a single lap around Laguna Seca.
Could it outrun a 328i, though? Seems possible! Another hard blow to the ICE.
Definitely not from the dealership, they didn’t drop the car off there, much less agree to storage fees! Insurance only up until whatever was covered by the policy (for that purpose, probably nothing), and I’m pretty sure you can’t make claims against a policy that closed 25 years ago.
I’m far from an expert and have never even owned a car with automatic collision warning, but for some reason there seems to be a *massive* flaw with these systems: when they are following a car that then moves over to avoid a stationary obstacle, they can’t detect the thing that they’re about to plow into, no matter…
That still leaves a huge performance gap between non-luxury CUVs and luxury ones, which I think used to not be there as much?
