The perfect conclusion to The Next Generation, it tied up the loose ends of that entire era (with the exception of DS9) and set up a great legacy to move forward that ties together the new and the old. Brilliant.

I really dislike the look, that said the aesthetic of the original was pretty blah too. I get it “grounded” but it’s boring. I felt they did a much better grounded interpretation of the universe with the Nolan and Reeves Batman movies.

Having lived through the 80s there’s a lot of 80s cross over there. I could see it being set in the mid to late 80s.

Fair enough, I have no gripe with him. I find him a bit “intense” at times but that’s just his energy (though I do wish he’d wear some shoes). I’ve found his videos pretty honest and he admits when he’s making a subjective call so I can respect that.
