Look at Florida where food is rotting on the vine and migrant workers are refusing to enter the state to do work. None of the “true Americans” want these jobs that they claim are being stollen.

Wow well he’s at least being honest about being a POS.

Good for you. /s

Counterpoint, Microsoft don’t need to sell hardware:

The video game rights are, if anything, more contentious. Spider-Man was made a Sony exclusive in the Avengers game because Sony didn’t want him showing up on Xbox (they didn’t do this to Midnight Suns at least).

He employs tech babble on frequent occasions when he wants to sound smart it’s nonsense.

100% agree this is pure Goonies.

This has me very excited (but there better be a Jetski chase).

This fills me with so much joy.

The “let’s go” is so delightful.

The weird lead up to the new episodes is kind of turning me off. I’d rather nothing than these trivialities being treated as major moments. This huge gap between seasons has really made me lose momentum with this show (and I’ve been watching since the Tom Baker years). I hope I have my socks knocked off when it’s back

And that right there is why Back to the Future is still a “money losing” production. Creative accountants always have incentive to be creative in situations like what you describe (and one thing Producers are creative with is the books).

Having friends working on production for streaming services the behaviour of production companies at the behest of the studios is at times barbaric. People working 80+ hour weeks with 4 or 5 hour turn around. They adhere to the letter of the old contracts because Streaming productions fall in a grey area not TV and

It’s too soon to see the impact, it’s things like infrastructure management that’d get hit. It’s already halted some planned development in the region so it has had a day to day hit. Just it’s not the day to day hit that’s obvious to the outside observer yet. When they start doing things like spite building prisons

Ditto and the audience had the same reaction. There was a hard core contingent of Transformer fans there as it was a mixed press/pre-screening and the fans lost it. When I wrote my review I had to really fight the urge to spoil it as I was so excited by the prospect (given how much better this and Bumbelbee was to the

So much for the no-spoiler embargo they have going until the 12th. Also, given a scene in the movie it’s clear this is a hard reboot and not the same continuity. The Bay movies don’t really matter.

Much of that talent has seemed to have left over the last little while. I feel they very much need to go on a talent acquisition spree less a studio acquisition spree. But it’s also a matter of using the assets they have appropriately. Look at Molyneux, they thought he was the hotness and elevated him up the chain

They aren’t hurting but they are a lot of people very sceptical of their ability to manage their stable and rightly so. They’ve not really delivered but they’ve also been trying to please all parties which doesn’t work. They need to take a more direct hand.

But that’s what they did previously and they got flack for it. I don’t disagree, I just feel they’re going to catch bad PR no matter what they do.

Agreed, the work culture at many of these studios is vastly different from one another so they require different levels of attention. If the Activision deal goes through I can only imagine that’ll be an entirely new level of pain. I’m not giving them any free passes but they need to find that place and the chattering
