The laws (and the contradictions and hypocrisy of those laws) around sex work and “indecency” say a lot about countries. Japan is far from the only confusing and hypocritical countries out there but it’s seldom writ so large as when you look at certain aspects of acceptable behaviour and what’s considered unacceptable.

The hate for EA is an interesting study, I’m not going to pretend they are without bad business practices but their practices were not demonstrably different than any other major publisher.
