You don’t spin up new titles over night. Most of those developers were purchased last year, if you want good AAA titles that are not rehashes you give them time. At this point given the time frame the lion’s share of their energy is going to go to the next generation’s launch date. Expect a crowded slate come next E3

I suspect it’d be like the first Destiny, given the assets exist in the Xbox and people were playing with them due to a glitch it’s just a matter of time.

Most of this is likely the case but I doubt they would threaten to attack Playstation and Sony in the press. That’d likely end in either a lawsuit or in the least making their working relationship toxic. They need it to be as copacetic as possible and the reality is they don’t need to make that threat at all. Given

I would say likely not, it’s not platform agnosticism it’s save transfers so any content you’re likely going to have to purchase.

Oh yadda yadda yadda, can’t let your precious brand take a little flack? Boo hoo, I own all the major console platforms and have a gaming PC plus hold shares in all three console manufacturers. I’m probably more invested in the platforms and the console space than most people. Seriously, it’s a corporation, not a

Starting? They’ve been that way for a couple of years now. They showed their old face for the first time when they played their hand with locking Epic accounts.

Honestly, this just brought me to the platform. I had more friends playing on the Xbox One (my preferred platform) but they drifted away but I have friends who are still playing on the PS4. Now I can share my save across all platforms I’ll be playing much more on the PS4.

They only just banned channels that spout racial hate and encourage Nazis, time to turn our attention to this bastion of hate on the platform.

No, it’s not cross play it’s cross save. You both can’t be using the same Bungie account at the same time (at least that’s how I’m reading it).

They seem to be softening, they just added the EA subscription service to the platform and that was a case of them holding out to drive their own product. I think now we’re reaching end of life for the consoles they’re going to be more open to these initiatives.

This will be amazing, I did so much on the Xbox when it first came out then my friends dried up and disappeared but have friends still active on PS4. It’d be nice if they allow cross save into the PS4 then I’ll have to pick up the expansions and passes but to be able to switch back and forth based on who’s playing

If you go back and look at his time as on air talent in the 60s I could totally scan him as saying that as a joke too. It has that passive voice that is prevalent in Canadian comedy of the era (remembering he married his mentor’s daughter who very much worked in that mode). That said I’m not going to say Kattan,

Fair point, I have to wonder if that was also due to the turn over in the writing staff. Certain Lampoon members were gone by the time Lorne returned and they were destabilizing to say the least. I know Catherine O’Hara quit on her first day and never even made it to air due to one of the Lampoon folks who was in the

There’s a fair bit of cherry picking and bad research in this article. I mean, SNL has been at times a toxic environment to work at for both on air and writing talent (Tina Fey did a lot to repair that and it seems at the writing room it’s continued to improve since her time). Sure a lot of that comes from the rituals

The thing with writing for SNL is it’s often a collaborative effort with the cast. There’s a reason why John Mulaney wrote so much for Bill Hader, they had a chemistry. Wiig had some amazing cast mates but she was game for everything and could fit any role. She was essentially a utility player AND a stand out star. I

Okay, this is seriously revisionist. The Ebersol era have some wonderful people in it (I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing members of the cast from that era) but Ebersol nearly tanked it as well. Honestly, we can thank Eddie Murphy for the show still existing.

An in joke to his time as the Doctor would have been really bad. It would have broken the illusion of the universe. For all its fourth wall breaking with God as a narrator that would have been too cheeky in a way that wouldn’t have really served the story and would have been tonally off. I get it, as a Doctor Who fan

That makes sense, I’ve been doing secondary character work in a friend’s web series lately and she shoots in a professional manner with call sheets and the entire nine yards. Wrangling our small cast is a task so I can imagine a big shoot is no easy feat.

Well when it doesn’t really impact the show and it gives you an opportunity to make an even better joke it makes sense. Challenge can give rise to the best comedy so certainly no complaints. Just interesting process. :-)

Good point and I understand that, I’m just curious what the “this is too much” break point was. On such a grand production squeezing a few hundred people into the theater wouldn’t have been that bad. I mean you have the groundlings in front of the stage, I’m guessing Crowley and Aziraphale would likely have been off
