I dont know, I see a guy that worked his whole life and finally got to buy himself a nice-ish car.

Chevrolet truly has made the poor-man’s supercar. A REAL supercar would self-immolate instead of this namby-pamby overheating business.
Gotta sell where the market is. SUVs and trucks are selling. And the SUVs that are selling are Equinoxes and Acadias that get 24-28mpg hwy. They're not all Tahoes and H2s that got 11mpg like they were a decade ago. And the small cars are good and competitive - people choose a Cruze over a Civic - that never would have…
I think that GM is a lot more flexible than you may imagine. Rather than making all their $ on H2s at the moment they've got the Lamda platform mates selling to soccer moms. Also, the quality of their small cars is miles better than they were. Look at a 16 cruze vs. a 2005 Cobalt - If gas spikes again and folks flock…
Its also a middle finger to the morons at the RNC this week who are STILL talking about those bailouts from 8 years ago...
How? By setting emissions requirements everyone but VW managed to follow?
As someone who’s actually owned a PT Cruiser, I can actually speak to it with some semblance of credibility. They do not deserve the hatred that they receive. Mine was reliable, quick, fun, and extremely practical. I owned an ‘03 PT GT with a 5-speed Getrag manual. It surprised more than a few SN95 Mustang GT’s...full…
So did Wilma.
GM doesn’t need to do anything. They’re finally starting to figure this out..
GM is trying to reduce fleet sales. The bean counters have finally figured out that its better in the long run.
Jalopnik reasoning
Now show me on the doll where the big bad GM hurt you...
not driving the chevy was a mistake, imo. their driving character on the highway is better than F150 and especially RAM.
And, folks, that’s a wrap.
Are you really doubling down on saying that ad was dumb? Please stop, it makes you looks stupid. Chevy did not set out to “attack” Ford as you put it, they simply found a flaw when evaluating the competition and reported it. Just as you and all news outlets were “reporting” (or is that attacking?) about repair costs…
They just like driving them. So what. Same for camaro and mustang drivers.
If you can test in Michigan, why bother with Ontario? The weather is similar, including the brutal winters. Having to deal with engineers, test vehicles, equipment, and everything else associated with testing having to cross an international border is a pain in the ass that could easily be avoided by just staying…
Hardly a turd. Just too much money.
It’s hard to beat a c5 for a mid priced track day car. High mile examples are going for decent prices these days, and with minor tweaks, much fun can be had.
Those who saw Evans expose himself said that it was no big deal.
