Driving a Range Rover outside of warranty is a fools errand (most German cars too).

Your brothers must be picking absolutely the worst piece of crap cars they can find then.

Well, apparently you don’t know about all of the AVL dynos that were intstalled a few years ago for fuel powered engines, transmissions, transfer case, LSD’s etc. because that is what I am referring to.

I work in management at a multinational supplier. Our customers are essentially every OEM and the vast majority of Tier1 suppliers globally - in addition to a lot of other industries like agriculture, construction, heavy truck, etc., etc.

“ ... Seriously expect what GM is producing now for the next 10-12 years are they are allocating 0 engineering resources and 0 capital on traditional internal combustion engine platforms. .... “

I had a Buick Envision service loaner a couple months ago for a week while getting a fender repaired - parking lot hit and run.

I used to be into restoring Honda CT’s (70's plus 55 and 90's) so was interested in looking at some of the Chinese clones that popped up for sale used to see if there were parts that could be used on daily rider CT70's that had become hard to find.

Wrong headline - it should read:

Not at all - I hope you’re being facetious!

Come on Raphael - a very, very small amount of research shows how this occurred:

Oh, its also the ONLY subcompact built in the US

Daewoo was long gone when that platform was developed.

“ ...Sounds like a last ditch effort to save the show. ... “
