LOL, whut?
“ ... What I was saying, though, is that IN MY OPINION, the only good cars GM makes engineered and designed by their German team....”
Ha - you made a funny!
“ .... the interior on any GM product makes me throw up in my mouth. .. “
Bought a LaCrosse last year, so the answer is yes!
Platforms are shared by EVERY OEM in the world - that doesn’t make them ‘rebadges’.
You have to drive the LaCrosse to appreciate the differences in ride quality, quietness, handling, features and on and on.
“ ... Korea may become GM’s engineering center for compact and subcompact vehicles. ... “
Sorry, but no.
“ .... Hell, just a causal glance at the cars on the roads will tell you that. If the car is 10-15 years old.... it’s probably not a Chevy. ...”
Didn’t think is what got you into this indefensible position in the first place.
No, you’re just blowing smoke up your own ass.
I never said you couldn’t ( with some notable exceptions), but those who think that isn’t reasonable to expect from Chevy’s are living with their heads in the sand - its been that way for quite a while too.
Fine and dandy, but the experience my wife had with her Odyssey turned us off of Honda forever.

The GM 2.2L, 2.4L, 3.5L, any SBC and many others just keep running fine.
Really out of touch with reality, aren’t you?
You know, there will be no different story after 150K miles in five years, the Cruze will still drive, ride and handle better, be much quieter inside and have a nicer interior with better features and oh yeah, GM cars go well past 200K miles ALL THE TIME!
