Well said. Gawker thought the rules didn't apply to them and that they could do every bad thing they shame everyone else for reasons beyond my grasp. They bit off more than they could chew and they're reaping what they've sown.

I simultaneously want Thiel to be fired into the sun and also think the end of Gawker's bullshit is a net positive. These aren't mutually exclusive beliefs.

It takes a particular brand of self-righteous prick to chastise everyone in the media for publishing celebrity nudes from The Fappening while publishing a few of their own. I'm not one of those pricks, but Denton and company sure are.

In a just world, Craggs would be blacklisted from writing anywhere ever again, even for freelance work. Instead, he's the political editor for Slate. But you're right, he's an awful person, and leaving in that matter proved it.

Trolls kept posting rape .gifs in the comment section of Jezebel articles and Gawker did absolutely nothing about it until someone wrote an article pointing it out.

A point to them for showing some restraint, but it came at the end of the fourth quarter when they're down by 30 points.

The kicker was that this was posted on a Deadspin sub-site, and Deadspin used to be up Bleacher Report's ass for… making clickbait and gaming Google search terms. Once again, only Gawker can do these things and be morally right.

I don't read gaming sites, they're all terrible and mouthpieces for whoever's scratching their back at the moment.
