as someone who loves both artists, the cardi and bruno song is a low for both of them. Bruno is straining to hit notes (???) while giving us a circa-2012 melody, and cardi doesn’t have a single good lyric.

i feel like when you’ve got someone throwing physical objects at you, there’s no need to provide evidence of name calling to justify that they’re abusive

the only way i can care about this beef is if it generates songs that get their careers back on track... i don’t see money or taki taki growing more than they have here in the states and i don’t even want to talk about good form

Years & Years new song is the shit. It reminds me of peak Lily Allen circa 2010-2012.

i mean what she really should have done is an EDM collab like demi has done fairly regularly between album cycles. She needs to re-introduce herself a lil bit.

I’m not disregarding them.

but she should actually hold it a month because the charts are being wrecked by post malone and drake

while I agree with the sentiment behind this and think we — especially media outlets — shouldn’t be leading with these descriptors in 2018... what a weird thing for one person to tell another person, in the public eye or not.

He’s doing great things for women and LGBT folks as TV writers, actors, directors, and to a lesser extent production crew, but... at some point you gotta make space for other people to get the ‘created by’ credit.

the insistence on portraying him as a sensitive, weepy artist while simultaneously ignoring the inherent insensitivity of being a vocal yet ignorant person is baffling

i have to say... taylor and/or her producers have been shamelessly ripping trends (a year late, usually!) from other musicians since the “red” era and yet... i am fully ready for taylor-swift-as-grimes/charli xcx hybrid

The assistants were integral in the system he set up: they brought women to him, made them feel like they were still in a ‘business’ setting, then left for the assault and harassment to happen.

My take: it was that the comedic tone of the movie made how “serious” his character was blatantly ridiculous. Which worked in everyone’s favor, he played it off perfectly!
