I had a roomate who worked at Toys R Us during the Dark Days of Elmo. He would come home and be emotionally drained from people raging at him about no Elmos or when they finally had them stocked people standing in line setting them off for hours on end. 

I prefer to look at it as stealing kills. If you steal from your business you are likely going to lose your job. He got what he got.

This reminds me of the Great Cabbage Patch War of the 80's where white people would beat up children to get the dolls. 

Can confirm as a mixed race person with people on both sides of the table. We also have a chain called Ezell’s which always seems to be more of a melting pot of chicken enthusiasts.
