Yes. One of my friends who was an MP in the army grows enraged when he sees how bad cops are at their jobs.

It needs to be federally funded with proper oversight across the board. Perhaps a pipe dream, but consistency of quality and capability are huge factors in poor hiring decisions in police forces as well as accountability, transparency, support services for officers etc. etc.

Oh I agree. This is going to cost money but I think the return on investment is worth it. People want to have their cake and eat it to when it comes to emergency service, and my experience with people has been that those who want to pay for those services the least are always the first to get angry when it isn’t fast…

I think that there are always going to be trade-offs and that we are going to have to accept footage is going to go both ways.

My wife and I did a cross country in my 07 FJ cruiser with two dogs. Suffice to say there was a hotel involved every night. There was also a 100MPH 60 mile dash to the next gas station after she opted out of stopping in the prior town to hit the ladies room, there was no way to pull off and head back to said prior…

Policing can’t be abolished. Human nature, when viewed historically, says that humans will always abuse one another in some way. We need some sort of authority to handle the criminal elements in society.

This is the same guy who told people to fire a shotgun in the air to scare off would-be burglars. He doesn’t even understand gravity and we want to give him presidential power.

Just think if we had investors willing to burn 16.2 billion dollars on ending homelessness. Less cars with terrible drivers on the street making traffic worse and less suffering.

DC police should have fined every one of Trump’s cult that was sporting flag shirts, dresses, etc. at his July 4th thing. They could have used the money to help recover from the expense of the affair.

And the fact that some of our former staunch allies are asking for more is a clear sign they think it is something shady.

I don’t disagree but he’s an adult and he’s in charge. He has to own any war even if he isn’t the one pushing for it directly.
