Other than everyone counting on selling a bajillion pay-per-views and getting fuckin PAID, there is zero reason this fight should happen.…

If this fight does go through, I am predicting it will be rigged for McGregor to either look better than he ever could hope to, or to have it decided on some close decision ala the Rocky movie to piss everyone off in order to setup a rematch that even more people will pay to watch.
