There's a really subtle Easter egg in this episode. At one point, they run by graffiti that says "Stephen King Rulez."

That "Captain Trips" graffiti was pretty blatant to be called an Easter Egg. Also, why would someone bother to write that on a wall? That's like writing "Spanish Flu" while you're dying of it.

Fortunately the requirements for evidence in an Internet comment section are pretty thin; so I'll stick with my intuition that people make choices in their lives. But you can disagree on the basis that "time is a flat circle" if you'd like. That is your choice (or predetermined fate).

I think mental afflictions can make choosing difficult, but I still believe in free will (barring things like dementia or mental retardation). It's dangerous to say "I have this disease. It makes things difficult. Therefore, I am not responsible for my actions." By that logic, alcoholics should receive nothing

This article just makes me want to read Rollins' piece, which I'm pretty sure was not the intent. Yeah, he sounds like an a-hole, but that's his schtick. And you know what? He's not entirely wrong. He's simply of a mind that having a disease doesn't give you the right to quit. Is that such a terrible philosophy?
